PADI Discover Scuba Course

Not sure about taking the plunge with the full PADI Open Water Dive Course? Limited on time? Then why not join us for a 'Discover Scuba Diving' Experience?

This is the perfect way for us to intoduce you to the amazing underwater world and to see the awesome marine life that is on our doorstep in the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Day One - is actually just an afternoon. We spend a couple of hours in our air conditioned classroom watching a DVD followed by one of our instructors going through some of the finer points of scuba diving. Next we jump into our on-site swimming pool to breath underwater for the first time. We spend some time getting used to being underwater and go through some safety skills in a comfortable and safe environment.

Day two - is the real thing! We met in the morning, get our gear together and jump onboard Water Rat. Once at the islands you we do two dives with an instructor supervising at all times.

When? As long as Water Rat is going to the islands you can be onboard too

Cost of the course - $195.00

and also includes: all equipment hire, lots of fun and of course rides on our ex Special Forces boat, Water Rat!

N.B. No medical is required but you will need to complete a medical declaration

This couse is only an introduction to scuba diving only and as such does not quality you as a PADI Open Water Diver. However, some parts can be used towards your PADI Open Water Course
