Divemaster - Time to go pro
This is your first step into the professional side of recreational diving. A Divemaster is a person who enjoys scuba diving and would like to help others do the same by looking after and leading certified divers or assisting their instructor with students on the various PADI Courses.
How?
At Banana Coast Divers we offer a Divemaster internship. You will join our team and learn every aspect of the operational side of a PADI 5 Star Dive Facility. You normally need to set aside a minimum of 4 weeks to complete the internship, although we will give you all the time and help you need to become a confident Divemaster. You will need to be a Rescue Diver and hold a Senior First Aid Certificate.
What's in it for me?
Once you have signed up for the internship you get to dive for free. Whenever we are going you can be on board too.
You will need to have 60 dives logged to become a Divemaster so you will get a minimum of 40 dives before the end of the internship, most Divemasters get a lot more.
You will become part of our dive team helping us with the day to day running of the operation and receive a staff polo shirt and Divemaster Crew Pack. This pack contains all the books and materials required to complete your Divemaster training so there are no hidden extras
As a 5 Star PADI Dive Facility we have accommodation on site with some great deals offered to Divemasters in Training. At the end of your internship you will have to become a member of PADI. Current cost $147.40 (Sept 09)
Cost of the Course
